Ticwatch doesn’t support beta system, thus leading to a few pairing problems for some unstable beta mobile OS.

Frequent Disconnection of Bluetooth

Some mobile devices may limit the background operations, leading to the dysfunction of Ticwear companion and its disconnection with Ticwatch. To ensure normal connection between the watch and the phone, please use the following methods to protect your connection.

Samsung

Go to Samsung’s own smart manager > Set Ticwear companion as auto-start.

Go to Settings > Security > App Permission > Ticwear Companion > Turn on Auto-Start, and make sure all the permissions are allowed.

Oneplus

Click right button on phone > Find Ticwear Global app and select lock to ensure the app is running in the background.

Xiaomi

Click left button on phone > Drag down Ticwear Global and select lock to ensure the app is running in the background.

Settings > Manage apps battery usage > Choose apps > Ticwear Global > Select No restrictions and Allow background location

How to check Ticwear OS version?

Long press the crown and click About, you will see your Ticwear OS version in the list.

How to pair?

My Ticwear version is above 4.0

Method 1: Scan the QR Code to Pair
1. Make sure your bluetooth is on. Use Ticwear companion to scan the QR code on your watch.
2. Click "Pair" at the popped-out confirmation page.
Method 2: Manual Pair
1. Make sure your Bluetooth is on. Choose to manually pair your phone in the Ticwear companion page.
2. Choose the smartwatch you need to pair from the device list. Press the QR code to check the watch model.
3. Click "Pair" at the pop-out confirmation page.

How to pair your watch with a new device?

Click at the top right corner of Ticwear companion and choose a new device to pair.

Unable to connect Bluetooth after disconnection

1. Turn on/off Bluetooth connection in the phone settings

2. Turn on/off airplane mode on Ticwatch

3. Restart both Ticwatch and phone

4. If none of above works, please reset Ticwatch and re-pair
